Important: Saturday 12 December 2026 is a working day: its day off has been moved to 31 December. The transfers apply to the five-day working week; they do not apply to continuous-process operations or daily public services.
The Longest Weekends of 2026
- Eid al-Adha: 27–31 May — 5 days in a row. The longest break of the year.
- Ramadan Eid + Navruz: 20–23 March — 4 days. Two holidays back to back: Eid on Friday, Navruz on Saturday.
- New Year: 1–4 January — 4 days.
- Independence Day: 29 August – 1 September — 4 days.
- New Year 2027: 31 December – 3 January — 4 days.
Sales Calendar 2026: When It's Cheaper to Buy

How to Tell a Real Discount From a Fake One
Since 21 October 2025, false discounts have been banned by law in Uzbekistan: a seller is required to display the lowest price of an item over the previous 30 days. If a "sale" is calculated from an inflated price, that is a violation.
